About this work
Lee Adler is a painter and print maker who was born in New York City in 1934.
Adler studied at Art Students League, Brooklyn Museum of Art, and Pratt Graphics Center.
His work has been exhibited at the Butler Institute of American Art, National Academy of Design, and the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City. Currently his work is shown in Metropolitan Museum of Art, British Museum, as well as the Whitney Museum of American Art.
